CNBC program this morning discussed the future of daytrading, and apparently Wit Trading is developing, and will offer in '99, a digital stock market with instant executions, global trading, 24 hr/multiple trading sessions, etc. you may recall Wit was the first firm to conduct an IPO thru the internet for a nyc-based micro-brewery. exciting stuff!! (their website doesnt get into global, 24/7 aspects, but their trading system is profiled in terms of establishing a whole new exchange that eliminates the MM's) witcapital.com
