I remember a few year ago, perhaps 3-4, a broker called me about a company with a ticker of MDIT...Madera International. I did a little DD, and decided not to buy it at the time. It was trading around $2.50 then, and I watched it drop until it finally hit around $.10 where I started to buy. I was really disappointed when it kept dropping, and almost bought more at 3 cents or so, but I didn't....darn it!
Can the stock get back to $2? I don't know....I'd bet there's a lot more shares outstanding now than there were then, but it sure looks like it could get back to the $.50-$1 range pretty easily. I hate to think that a website opening is what's driven the price up in the last few days. That's a lot of hype to me, just like EBAY, AMZN, and a lot of other internet stocks that have become overinflated with hot air. But, if it works, I'll take it <vbg>.
Has anyone seen any other websites done by the company that's doing Madera's? I think they're called Netrus, or something like that (is that net-are-us?). I hope they don't create a real amateurish website for them....that could be a disaster.
