Dead cat bounce? Possible. But volume increase is impressive. And what is interesting is the general the break out of small caps (these 1998 underperformers might become the stars of 1999). SMU started actually early as compared to most other small caps and must have been considered as one of the most undervalued small caps or there is some good news leaking out.
I for one do not believe that SMU will retract much from here as small caps could explode next week while large caps are under pressure. we will see.
Robbins was down on SMU which was sequentially dropped from A to B to a C rating in Red Chip Review. Interesting that he chose SMU as a potential 1999 winner, despite SMU management's credibility.
Good luck.
François
