I have not read all of the posts on this ridiculous thread so I'm not sure if someone else has told the story of our "brave" Goldfinger but let me risk repeating it...

This story was told to me many years ago by my colleague James Bond, 007. And you will see that this Goldfinger is a fraud, because the real Goldfinger died many years ago.

First of all, let me say, for many of you that have not seen him, well, let us say that he has a face (and body) made for the medium of the Internet: 275 - 300 lbs. and red hair.

Like our friend, here, the real Goldfinger had a plan for world domination: He was going to break into Fort Knox, destroy the gold supply with a nuclear bomb and therefore corner the world market in gold. That is until 007 got involved. Its a pity that such an intelligent person turned to a life of crime, but like all criminals, he was thwarted. He was too stupid to know that you don't fire a gun in an airplane and his large body was sucked out through a very small hole when his gun went off during a scuffle. James and the heroine, "Pussy" Galore, a lesbian that James converted to his way of thinking, parachuted out and were last seen kissing under their parachute on the ground.

So, to all the followers and sycophants of this imposter I ask you to consider the following:

- Auric Goldfinger gassed all the gangsters he tried to enlist in his plan when they didn't inspire him. This fate awaits you also.

- Goldfinger cheated at golf. He wears a beret and knickers while playing. Will you trust your money with this guy?

- He has a large man-servant named "Odd Job" that wears an razor sharp metal hat and is pretty good at throwing it like a frisbee.

- He paints his ex-girlfriends gold and leaves them to die.

- Blofeld is the only villain that keeps coming back. This "Goldfinger" must be a fraud.

In addition,

- Tell me one day in the last 20 years when you couldn't find doomsayers somewhere. Remember "Mr. BowTie" on CNBC that announced the next bear market had just begun. Wars, impeachment, terrorists, wag-the-dog, all were supposed to make the market go down. "Oh its been a great market but it just can't keep going up."

- Here's a plan, lets talk about TulipMania and the bubble bursting next week as if it was a given, then everyone will sell because they will think that everyone on the inside knows!

- I see the connection in comparing tulips and the most powerful business productivity tool every invented--NOT. Frankly this smells of a bunch of gasbags that favor investing in smoke stacks and "tangibles". This "knowledge-based" stuff is just too hard to understand and you just can't touch it. Do you think that DELL will return another 55,000% in the next ten years? Would they do it without the Internet in any case?

- Using DELL as a comparison, how many have been predicting the end for that and over what period of time? Is that a stock that you short Goldfinger?

- Will the correction be the end of the Internet sectors fabulous growth? I would wager that 90% of you could not do what you do today without the Internet. Its here to stay whether you do or not. Like every other correction it will be the beginning of something
else. Or is the market going down anyway because of Y2K? There have been corrections before in AMZN and look where it is now. It doesn't take any rocket scientist to predict a correction will come, they always do in a market this huge. Long term investors win.

- You only get my money when I sell. By the way, who is winning on Amazon--Merrill or Oppenheimer?

- Why does revenue not count? Because the market is sure these companies will get their act together and they are the future--not bricks and mortar. There is obviously some element of gambling but the entire market is a gamble in any case.

- Have you all got your gold and dehydrated food yet? The end is near!

- Lastly, the good guy gets the girl. Zorro can tell you with great authority that this is true.

Is this "Goldfinger" really who you want to pattern your life after?

So, it is obvious to Zorro that this is just another ploy to whip up a negativity frenzy and try to get everyone to sell--thereby creating a self-fulfilling prophecy. This Goldfinger is just an imposter who may not die as a result of his misdeeds but will pass into obscurity with the likes of all the others who predict doom.

In addition, it is great publicity for Silicon Investor to host someone like this so that everyone will come to see all the predictions of doom. No doubt "Auric" is a principal in SI.

Zorro is always long!!!
