Maybe that's where AMZN is headed?

BTW, here's some of my experience regarding previous bubbles: Penny Oil companies in the late 70's doubled and triple overnight. Maynard Oil was one. The bubble popped real fast for no particular reason. I learn the stop loss lesson.

The biotechs were a ride. Lesson 1: better to have bailed early with a profit than be last out the door. Lesson 2: Let gains ride and don't use a 10% stop loss on the flyers! Remember Enzo Biotech? Genetech had a huge run up at the IPO, which was unprecedented at the time. Everyday event today!

No doubt the internet is fueling the speculation daily with all the stocks.com/advise.com sites out there. Heck, all one needs is a .com to open an advise site! The itulip.com link is a perfect example. The net is where the speculators hang out just like the 'ol diner or coffee shop of the 20's.

My gut says speculation is at an all time high, but how can we measure that? Certainly we can't just look at boards like this. Number of shady IPO's? Broker loans outstanding?
