Hi Everyone,
I just paid my $200 for a lifetime membership so that I could post on this thread and grow and learn together with such a fine group of folks as you all seem to be.
I'm 57 and new to trading, having just retired. My hubby of 39 [very happy] years is still working [poor fella], so I'm trying to create a small income for us by sensible, successful trading...this way maybe he, too, can retire in the near future.
My mistakes were spelled out wonderfully by Doug. Greed [and uncertainty and indecision]... don't take the $300 profit today, sell tomorrow and hope I can keep the loss under $1,000...ugh!
Buying at the open with a [shudder] market order. Oh, what an expensive lesson that was. One, however, that will not be forgotten.
I started in June with a $15,000 'purse' so to speak and today it is $23,000, so overall I'm pleased.
I have to continually remember to not beat up on myself for my mistakes with cudda, shudda, wudda.... and that sure can be a challenge sometimes.
Trader J [Jeff], I too printed your post #2923 and will reread it often. I will gladly do some research if given the direction on what my assignment is. I pride myself on the quality of work I produce and on my integrity and honesty, but so far as knowing how to do proper research, I'm just not yet adept. Please let me know what it is you think I can do, if anything.
You have my email address from my letter to you requesting to see the baby's picture. If you don't have it any longer, let me know and I'll send it to you privately. BTW... SHE IS ADORABLE!!!
Peace, Sasa ((~.~)) |
