Two questions about Brown and Co.:

1) Would Brown allow entering an order for more than 5000 shares at one time? Datek won't allow a trade for, say, 30,000 shares at one time, even though I'd be happy to pay the $9.95X6 total commission. Just please let me place *one* damn order, and not have to place six (and then another six to get out);

2) Is Brown set up for trading options yet? Datek has been promising since last year to allow options trading, but when ever I ask about it, they say that it's still months into the future....

So, yes, like some others here, I am looking for a better broker than Datek.
