Invest-ex,

What is really an interesting variable to throw into the equation is exactly how much municipalities and local governments will keep on hand (as well as private corporations) in order to ensure there is sufficient payroll available.

The Washington Post (in another of their "don't worry, we've got it covered" articles), reported that Montgomery County, MD (just NW of the DC beltway) is making arrangements with a local bank to have $14 million, or one week's payroll, available in cash.

But what they missed in the analysis is how, on top of individual hoarding of cash, cities and towns will be doing the same thing on a larger scale. Won't this will place even greater stresses on hard currency supplies??

And if we have this problem in the US, what about Europe??

Hmmmm....

Regards,

Ron
