If you did not believe that your question could be answered by Christianity then why have you insisted so deliberately, and for so long to get an answer from Christians?
Come on Mark, give me a break. Your answer about not wanting to read what I have suggested sounds like as royal cop-out. And I do mean royal! :).... If I struggled with a question concerning your beliefs, your God, or your religion, and you pointed me to a book that would answer it for me, it would be terribly ignorant of me, to say the least,if I were to dismiss or put it off.
Simple analogy Mark:
If one suffers from chronic backaches in spite of going regularly to Dr.I. Nocando, and a friend advises him that he suffered the same way until he went to Dr.Curem Goodnquick, and he(the back sufferer) refuses to give Dr. Curem Goodnquick a chance, then the guy desreves to have a backache.
