I just had a thought of what I think might be a relevant indicator to feed the nets. I don't know of a convenient place to get the data though. Imagine an indicator that was something like "analyst earnings expectations" or "whisper number" or even "average analyst rating" that changed over time for a given stock. The absolute value of this indicator or its rate of change might be useful for the nets, although it will probably change very slowly. These things do move the price of the stock however and it may allow the net to account for drops that it can't account for otherwise. Another one may be something like # of days before/after earnings release or analyst conference call.

Just a thought.
