I actually made it to the parade this morning. We woke up around 7:45 and hiked down to Colorado Blvd. (near Wilson) just as the first floats were going by. Got to sleep in a nice comfy bed too! OK, OK, I know it is cheating, but at least I was clean. We planted ourselves firmly in the white trash section and proceeded to make bets between each other as to when and which one of the drunk guys on the wall was going to fall down. It only took about 20 minutes before they both fell in unison. The Wisconsin band was fantastic. They were having lots of fun with the crowd. Don't know if that showed up in the TV coverage. Our buddies on the wall were booing, which was kind of embarrassing. After the parade, we hiked up to my friends place in Bungalow Heaven and took a well deserved nap. JXM BTW: We were wearing T-shirts and shorts.
