From the newsletter-1/1/99

Barnes & Noble [BKS-42 1/2] and the subject of a special alert-[sell]. The movement to $48 was excessive and that move has to be called "speculative." Therein lies the reason for the sell on that strength. We will come back to this stock, but it is going to crunch the $40 level [again opinion-you all realize I make no promises, right?] and when this happens, depending upon our VTAR © numbers, we will decide then a proper reentry point. At the moment, that re-entry point is $34 5/8 or so. Our long-term objective for this stock however has increased to $65-75, so it will be important to find that re-entry point. Long-termers, you may ride through this if you wish…after all, it's only money and the long-term objective is still there for you.

FYI-

The Axxel Knutson's VTAR © Newsletter [Volume Trade Analysis Research] is published [free] 3/4 times a week and is given to various web sites and to individuals who request it. There are no charges. It is free. This may be an excerpt from that newsletter. If you would like the rest of the newsletter or if you would like to be put on the list, simply email me at stockopn@webspan.net; tell me your email address, the city that you live near and how you heard about it.
