Greg, if its ok I would like to address some of your points.

<I have to agree with Ski.>
That your first mistake :-) only kidding.

<The other graphics companies are emulating ATI's business model (designing chips and manufacturing the boards...ie 3DFX).>

While I do agree that was yesterdays model, I don't see it as the model of tomorrow.

ebnews.com:80/story/OEG19981231S0004

and I quote

(1)"if not to the demise of the independent graphics-card"
(2)"The move puts increasing pressure on card companies, whose days as distributors of PC components seem numbered market itself."
(3)"Add-on card vendors are being squeezed by a combination of industry economics and a trend toward integration,
which is pulling a growing number of peripheral components and interfaces on-chip(OH, do you mean chip on chip design like what S3 and Intel are doing??)And because graphics ICs now represent a greater portion of the value of an add-on card, graphics-IC vendors
are gaining clout at the expense of card suppliers.“All the technology is now in the chip,” Anderson said.

Greg, that doesn't sound like ATI had the business model of tomorrow.
From your own post "In the near future Intel will be releasing CPU's with graphics built in the CPU." A statement that I agree with, so what would anyone in the fast pace high tech want to move to use an outdated business model?? I would expect that within a few years the entire add in board market to be only 5%-20% of the market.

As for <It kinda bothers me when I see posts hypeing a stock from someone who was hypeing when it was $10-$12, dropped out of sight when it crashed and then popps up saying I told you so when the stocks seems to be on the path to recovery.>

First I don't feel the need to defend myself, but by "dropped out of sight" do you mean I wasn't posting when I was out of the country or lets say "detained"?? I have bought and sold this stock a dozen times since 1995, however I have always maintained my core position and faith in this company, and yes sometimes to a fault. However, if you could say anything about me is I have always been consistent.

As always any thoughts or feedback of yours is welcomed and requested
