*AV* MPEG Manufacturers

Presently I am looking at all the MPEG fabless companies and trying to see if we can entice them to have their IC devices made at our company. In the process, I have come across too many prospects and am having a hard time figuring out who the real players are going to be.

So to the point, I am too close to this and am innundated with possibilities, so I am waiting for someone out here to pop a few names. I will go back to my data and see what the lay of the land is.

Finally, in an effort to find foundry opportunities for my company, it became keenly apparent that they are very few quality speech synthesis and speech recognition companies in the marketplace. I have narrowed down my list to a modest handful and will be posting it here soon for evaluation. In the meantime, if you like MPEG, give some thought about whether you see a bright future for speech recognition (or speech to text conversion recognition).
