Personally I don't think they are going to do anything about the home connectivity market, except for playing the smart card angle. We will see convergence of debit/credit/cash card/smart card and integrated technology that can handle different types. IVI is well positioned to participate and that is also one reason we have speculated that it is just a matter of time before Ingenico buys them out.

Don't forget also that Interac was supposed to have been opened up much more to other businesses last couple of years which has not really happened. I remember the expectation at that time was that it will expand IVI's market. It might still happen with last round of recommendations re. competition made as part of allowing banks merger etc.
