Northstar, it was interesting to watch SFAM on the 31st as it was trading in the 16.25-16.375 for most of the day. During the last 15 minutes there was a surge to buy that pushed the stock upwards. I certainly hope our time has arrived and the upward trend continues. In addition, I also noted the same surge in CMOS and CYMI during this 15 minute time frame.

If the IPEC merger is effected as planned and at .71 shares of SFAM for each share of IPEC, one may be able to pick up SFAM at a nice discount (11% as of the close on 12-31-98). I have been acquiring IPEC on the wider spreads as SFAM has been creeping up and would be interested to hear from others who are doing the same.
