Thanks much, Gus.
<<"That's why some of us are anxious for AXC to hurry up to the web so it can start to learn as it goes along and start figuring out exactly just how to use its tech to make money on the dang internet in the 21st century.">>
Could you point me to some posts or links here (or elsewhere) that discuss AXC's possible Internet initiatives? Was aware it's acquiring a small Web site host service provider, but what's the board's consensus as to AXC's objectives?
<<"Now, if only Ampex can figure out how to catch up with the growing crowd rushing to stream quarterly conference calls to investors. That is the kind of service, part of a collection of services, that would seem to me to be an effective way to gather eyeballs, showcase technology and increase the profile of the stock all at the same time.">>
This isn't rocket science. In my initial post, I had mentioned BCST, the company that's piloting this project. Seems to me Ampex should be talking with BCST about roles it can play as this great program rolls out (not to mention a bunch of others). Somehow, the names "broadcast.com" and "Ampex" seem made for each other, no?
For those who want more on the BCST/Nasdaq initiative, here's the recent BCST press release announcing it:

Finally, a question:
In your (or anyone's) experience, is it likely (or even conceivable) that AXC management is reading this board? I sure hope so.
Thanks for your great posts, all.
