I may be about to put my foot into it ....

But, Mr. Thall ... I'm a couple of weeks ahead of your call to the Dept. of Mines ... which by the way ... is my understanding, regardless of their name ... is NOT an AZ State Agency. Rather they are simply a PR Dept to promote mining in AZ.

However, I asked some of the questions you've raised ... and received the same "tut tut" answers you are expousing.

My impression from talking to a gentleman at the Dept. of Mines was the individual is mired in "tried & true" mining technology, that there is NO VALID assay other than fire assay ... nor was the party remotely familiar with the internet or this thread. Perhaps my suggestion they follow up on this thread was heard. <G>

Since my call of several weeks ago, Naxos mineralization has been validated to some degree by Ledoux Labs using a variation of the Sierra assay technique ... NOT the standard fire assay.

Further, the one question I asked ... and it was NOT the intent of my call to be argumentative or play devil's advocate ... and which seemed to stump the Manager ... was this:

First he agreed that Berhe Dolbeare was a credible, internationally recognized engineering firm. So my question was ... considering that the total retainer paid to B-D is only $5,000/mo ... why would B-D remain on this project for 2 years, possibly sullying their reputation and having the Pres. of B-D personally involved for a lousy $5G/mo if they thought the IPM project would not bear fruit?

If I recollect, I don't think IPM has made any formal claims ... to date ... regarding the presence of Pt ... only AU.

If Pt is also recovered, it will be a plus bonus to the gold. And, at that time ... I'm certain we would all love to hear your uproarious laughter then.
