NEW YORK, Jan 1 (Reuters) - Wall Street firms managed a
record $1.8 trillion in domestic offerings from debt and equity
underwriting in 1998, almost 40 percent more than the previous
record of $1.31 trillion set last year, Securities Data Co. of
Newark, N.J. said in a survey on Thursday.
