The point I am still trying to get across is that, as the previously
mentioned articles show, big money has to be spent replacing
the current gasoline supply infrastructure. As old gasoline tanks
and pumps are being torn up and replaced with new equipment, some
of that new equipment can be methanol pumps installed at about the
same cost as the new gas pumps. No one will be spending money to
tear out good gas pumps to replace them with methanol pumps. IMHO,
gas pumps will slowly be replaced by mehtanol pumps at the normal
rate of attrition. Gas and ICEs will still be around for a long time.
