Dale, The NASDAQ ticker SMTK

Here's what's up with: SMARTALK TELESERVICES INC

53 Institutions held 57.47% of the outstanding shares as of September 30,1998. Of these, 14 established new positions while
33 liquidated their holdings. Overall, Institutions increased
their holdings by 11.94% for the period 7/1/98 thru 9/30/98.

And, as of now {years end}... Insts' hold 70.1% of it.. That's an increase of 18.01% since 9/30.. {not too shabby}

And to ease your mind a bit more before investing and going long on SMTK....Fidelity is the #1 inst. holder in which they took a NEW position in it, somewhere prior to 9/30/98...and they own 13% of it...<a nice investment by them> In fact, the #2 spot of 5.8% is also a new position, and the #3 spot ?? well, they used to hold the #1 spot, but also they have increased their holdings by +26.5% now giving them a 4.2% stake.

As always, do your own DD...but I've done mine, so now you can no longer say: SMTK - don't know it >gg<

And on another note, OREX is still good for at least a 50% gain short term. {IMO}
