In our local paper the report on celebrex was not very flattering. A big point was made that even if it helped arthritis, the attack on the intestinal system was still a problem. MRK will hopefully introduce their drug without such effects. I take one aspirin daily for heart and have done so for eight years without side effects. The aspirin is the generic of ecotrine and coated to avoid the stomach problems. The arthritis in my hands and feet, thanks to frostbite in Korea,gets so bad sometimes that I feel like taking a cleaver and doing my own amputation. I realize that is stupid, so I pray that someone finds relief for arthritis.
