Someone asked for predictions for the price of VLNC stock in 1999. I'm not going to give a prediction for the high but will offer one for where the first announcement will take us. $27.

I base that figure on the price of the stock back in 93 or 94 when the Motorola contract was announced. At that time the price spiked to $27. Granted things didn't work out then but now everything looks like a go from a production standpoint. The company is in better hands, the production at the NI plant has been going smoothly, inventory is being stockpiled, prior bugs have been worked out, financing is in place for the near future, insiders are buying, Lev is excited, etc. Sure, Murphy can raise his ugly head and slow things down but the company has weathered some heavy storms and come out swinging. Every company is facing a cash crunch at this stage of the game. Until batteries are going out the door pursuant to a contract everyone will have to cross their fingers. But, look at the upside. Cut FMK's estimates by two thirds and you still get to $27. Wolunchuk said near term $20-$30. He has been on target so far. Look what happened in Oct-Nov. On Nov 27 the price was at $11+ driven up from $4 just on the insider buying and hope a product would be displayed at COMDEX with a Valence battery. Nobody at the company said that would happen. It didn't, and the price has drifted back down as you would expect. The SH meeting will be held on Feb 3. Wouldn't that be a great time to either announce a contract or celebrate one already announced. Probably a better bet than what we hoped for at COMDEX.

There are a lot of people sitting on the sidelines, waiting to see if Zeev or FMK get the pat on the back in the end. Iam betting on FMK. His motives are apparent. He loves the stock and has studied it carefully. He knows everything the other side knows and he remains extremely bullish. There are a lot more people on this thread who are optimistic. They have just gotten tired of the negative rhetoric of the minority and pulled back.

In the past two sessions the price has gone up around 20% based on no information and a generally negative mood on this thread. That should generate some enthusiasm from the longs.

The world needs Valence batteries. The batteries are being produced. OEMs know what they can do for their products. All we are waiting for is the first contract.
