Ron: First, Happy New Year. I enjoy your posts here and on Yahoo. I linked to the FDA page to look at the talking points. If I understand what they are saying, it is NOT the case that Celebrix causes the same stomach problems but that the proof that Searle submitted was not sufficient for the FDA to say so. If I understand this correctly, then it is up to Searle and Pfizer to submit results from additional types of DIFFERENT trials. BigKNY3 provided the link the other day: fda.gov For now, the feedback from initial users may be the best judge.
