Tom,
I was interested to know if you had any insight or information into Disney's forthcoming internet venture with Infoseek called Go Network. Maybe some of this internet mania can rub off on Disney whose shares had a dismal '98. Astounding that AOL's market cap has now exceeded Disney's. Having some trouble reconciling that one. Also, in last weeks Barron's, there was a list of the largest non-S&P 500 company's market caps. Again, I was shocked at the inclusion of some internet stocks:

#11 EBAY 11.9 bil (Market cap as of 12/28) $27.8 mil (Last 3 Qtrs Revenue)

#17 ATHM 8.2 bil 32.5 mil

For comparisons sake, coming in at #9 is Equitable Co's (EQ) with a 12.3 billion market cap and 2.4 billion in revenues for the last 3 Qtrs. This is comparing apples to oranges I know, but when these internet stocks start bringing money down to their bottom lines, that's when there's going to be trouble. DIS's market cap is 62 billion with 17 billion in revenue over the last 9 months.

Anyway, back to my original question. I hope someone on the thread can enlighten me as to Disney's Go Network internet venture.

Best regards,
Bruce
