I don't think you'll find anyone who advocates that. The only true difference is whether we have public market failure, or private market failure.

I am for what works, and works most efficiently with the least cost.

As a teacher you should understand that throwing money at a problem doesn't solve it. All it does is permit unscrupulous people to capture the proceeds with the least amount of effort.

Ex: The last report I heard DC spends some $9,000 per child, yet reflects some of the least results in national test scores.

In the end it amounts to people caring about one another and not permitting some amorphous governmental or private institution to usurp your individual responsibility for the standards that your children meet.
