I had the same thing happen this morning. I called them directly, was put on hold so I tried their Telemaster phone service, which was down. Tried the computer. Down. Finally got a broker about fifteen minutes later. Rediculous and not the first time with them. I've always been put on hold with them for a minimum of 10 minutes. I've noticed their stock was volume leader 2 days in a row this week. Too many clients for them to handle is my guess. Can you say AOL?

All my other SYCR trades have gone through Lombard. Rarely ever put on hold and then for maybe 3-5 minutes. Frankly, I tend to avoid using ETrade altogether. Just had some excess cash sitting in that acct.
