no, once I set up a mother directory like meta, then my scans feed separate directories. They are cleaned out and replaced with each scan run. if you want to have the flexibility of looking at any stock, you can have a all symbols sub-directory, but a program like MSWIN makes it difficult to use unlike GET.

The effective way is just transfer those stocks you would trade by filtering for your requirements. You can always get a good picture in QP charts. You also might have a metastock directory that you manually input stocks that have become favorites to watch even if they don't meet filters. You could hold them to the 255 limit for ease of use in metastock.

I lost some big limbs in the last one here. We may be missing this one. Trees down here aren't use to it.
