Announcing the 1999 Pharmer Portfolio Challenge
Here is the first PFEr Challenge for 1999.
All PFErs, Pharmers, bulls, bears, longs, shorts and lurkers are welcome to participate.
Last year, the first Portfolio Challenge with 35 entrants provided real insight into various Big Pharma investing strategies.

Da Challenge:
On January 2, 1999, you receive a mythical $10,000 to invest only in the 13 stocks listed in the Big Pharma Report (see list below).
Using percentages, allocate these monies in cash and long positions and short positions in the 13 Big Pharma stocks. Your percentage must add up to 100%. You have until 11:59 pm on Sunday, January 10, 1999 to submit your portfolio to your mythical broker- Mr. Peabody- on the Pfizer Board on either AOL's Motley Fool or Silicon Investor.
Your portfolio will be evaluated based on purchase prices using the closes on December 31, 1998 and selling prices based on the closes on December 31, 1999.
Please also provide a sentence or two explaining your Big Pharma investing strategy for 1999.
