Another thing to consider besides just cost is the RBOC/ISP service. I am in the process of ordering SDSL from Covad here in CA and these guys I have talked to don't have a clue about a great deal of important questions (ie. can I keep my two ISP accounts and my AOL if I have a dedicated line? --I believe the answer is no and yes, respectively) and its not as painless as it should be. There will be a guy coming out to change my line ("oh, sometime in the next 3-4 weeks", gee thanks for the specifics) and you have to have a NIC and also have to buy a router/modem that costs a lot too (ie. $385). Granted service is different depending on the ISP/RBOC etc..., but getting the service thing down is going to take some time for everyone probably. I should find out a lot more in, oh let's say, anytime in the next 3-4 weeks'. ;-) pigboy
