I've been pretty luck with e*trade so far, but also couldn't get in this morning, though lucky for me I didn't need to...I do have one suggestion to everyone as a possible solution...keep two accounts with two different electronic brokers, that way if one server is down you could use the other...obviously only works for buying stocks, but this is what I do...actually did it by accident, was going to close one account but then I thought of this... Just a suggestion.... john
