OK, let's take off the veil. You are WRONG. I referred you to Post #770 long ago and you obviously didn't read it, so here is is:

<Re: Where is the management or control if all you do is sell a delisted stock and buy a newly listed stock.

There really isn't any. That's why these instruments are so popular. And that's why they can't justify the kinds of expenses that managed funds have. These kinds of funds are called passive funds for just that reason. And there are no fund managers in the traditional sense. Buying and selling is mechanical.>

The above was not sent by me, it was not solicited by me, it was a response by someone who knows more about the subject than you or I did. I am just wondering which computers are invited as guests to plug the stocks in their index funds. Might be the next great buy.

<(Although not entirely on point --one of the reason why the TLAB/CIEN deal fell apart was because some of the major institutional investors (obviously not index fund managers -- but certainly some managers from fund families that included index funds threatened to pull out
[get the point??])

Yes, I agree with you on this point. YOU are, and have been, not on point since my initial post. You slip in more and more unnecessary information as each post is made. I have listened to more briefings than you could ever imagine and I am quite adept at sifting through the BS and recognizing tap dancing. I have listened to some of the best and quite frankly, you aren't very good at it. Is that unveiled enough for you? Now I am ready to end this--MISSION ACCOMPLISHED.
