IMac & ELNK: disconnects probably positive (You've Got Mail) Edward Boghosian Thanks for the report about your daughter's recent disconnects with ELNK. My wife has experienced the same problem with AOL over the holidays. AOL announced the greatest number of new subscribers ever on Christmas Day. I speculate that that both ELNK and AOL have experienced an onslaught of new customers with the success of the IMac and with the movie, "You've Got Mail" starring Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan. I took my wife on a date to the movie, and we were delighted. PoorRich ps: I wish AAPL all the best even though CPQ, DELL, and MSFT are some of my major holdings. I even bought AMD because of the inexpensive microprocessors slated for the next generation of low cost PCs ($500 and less), which some analysts believe will be 'iMac busters.' I hope not. The world needs more than Bill Gates and beige boxes.
