Rohit,
I could kick myself for not buying this one 1-1/2 months ago. I was looking at it at 29. I'm for good times as much as anyone, but if that correctino everyone is talking about is going to hit, I don't think I want to buy any stock with a P/E of 29. PEP is a good long-term hold prospect but for me to $invest$ I have to have my cake and eat it too (price dip causing short-term discount and good long-term prospects). Maybe this is the short-term dip? I'm playing with my college tuition here. One company I think might be worth a serious look is Philip Morris (MO). They have gained 30 points (25%) over the past 6 months but still has a p/e of 15. A p/e isn't everything, but with blue chips selling for such a premium, this one looks like a diamond in the ruff. Anyone could make the argument against them for their tobacco division, but they have so much more (Kraft Foods and Miller Brewing).
Good luck everyone. . . I'm going to sit the bench on this one.
College Boy
