Regarding how long... Take Tennis- fencing- Karate- how long does it take to be good. How many MF managers can beat the market. How long does it take to develop discipline. In some senses a lifetime. Some folks will never be there. The key in sports or anything is training and consistency. I am still training- and still trying to be consistent. What I know are the "truths" are: 1. Study- Study - Study. 2. back Test 3. Develop what is comfortable for you and what gives above average returns in theory. 4. Limit losses. 5. Limit losses 6. Limit losses 7.limit losses 8.
