Peter, you should follow the thread on Ross from the beginning. It makes for interesting and dramatic reading! The main problem with Ross is that their primary source of revanue used to be from supplying chips and add-ons for Sun work stations. They are now trying to re-invent themselves as a work station manafacturer in direct competition with Sun. Their market share will ultimately depend on how successful they are. Long term they stand a very good chance. (Follow the threads to form your own opinion!) This redirection has created a great deal of uncertainty about their future and hence a serious devaluation of their stock.
