Please note that the issue is that not every cable facility
is 'cable modem' capable.

In SF Bay Area, TCI is virtually the only cable provider
( at least that's the only provider I've heard of so far ).
However, probably half of these cable systems are too old
to be 'cable modem' capable.

Another issue is the installation rate. TCI/ATHM has
to send people to each house once, to add a splitter
in the cable box that legally only TCI could open and
test the splitter works.
