about : --- LCOS: well known and maybe fully valued. Who cares about the NFL hype. There are a lot of football sites. Not many other football sites are going to have an ad on the right channel on Superbowl Sunday. Portals make revenue from advertisements. Lycos is going to get a lot of exposure during this football season. That translates into more people advertising with them. --- THDO: I don't like gaming companies so why is this one different. You won't like THDO then because they write games. However they're releasing a lot of them in the next few months. The ones that have just been released are about the best of their kind. --- SMTK. Pre-paid cellular...is there growth here? Why won't the major providers also adopt this model? The easiest way for that to happen is through an acquisition of a company like SMTK. ----- BAMM: What the hell is a millionaire's club? It's a membership at booksamillion.com for books at a discounted price. Expansion to DVDs and CDs wouldn't be hard for them. --- Ed
