Alwayslate, you went in early this time. Agree about the behaviour bit. Many think switching costs are nil. That may not be true for the majority. How many times will you enter your portfolio details on the new sites ? How many times do you change your paper based address books, even though better ones, more organised ones are available in the market. Some will - most won't. You might be one of the minority, hence your perspectives. Mine is some 12 years old tattered one...and I treasure it. Hence my perspectives. Plus YHOO brings together the whole package of "goodies". People are moving towards the concept of one interface, one source - thats the reason for the success for Windows as well. If YHOO can get everything together - more power to them. But if you feel all that's not important, well that's a factor we all sould take into consideration in our investment decisions. Hope this isn't becoming a yada yada yada....have I dug in my heels ? I really appreciate your posts and am learning from you. But of course that is the point.
