Precisely the reason I choose to stay with SGI through the roller-coaster ride and not migrate from one stock to another, back and forth. However, to others, who are more familiar with other VSE stocks which they are also playing, SGI is just one opportunity out of several. If they expect some South American gold exploration company to discover a motherlode before SGI gets its casino license, they will be playing the other company first and hope everything times out right.

Also, please bear in mind that if the some of the events you mentioned (especially #1 and #4) occur before the due diligence is completed before February (or even after), the event will be a "change of business" and the VSE will impose a fairly long trading halt for more due diligence. The sooner the triggering event occurs, the longer the trading halt will be, as less time will have passed to do some anticipatory due diligence.

Some fast-moving market players may be turned off by the idea of being "stuck" with something for one month, even if the potential reward makes it worthwhile. Remember, many other penny stocks can double in no time, and during an extended trading halt they could be making money elsewhere.
