The delay is for "Blending" the ore. There are 4 adits to be opened.
3 are open, and the fourth will be within a week or so. The mine is operational, and currently processing ore. The delay, is so that all 4 adits can be opened, and the ore from all 4 can be blended, to produce a consistent quality of gold, with consistent production averages. They are realistically looking for 1 oz/ton. The analysts will judge the success of the mine, on the oz/ton produced, and by blending all 4 adits, they will be able to avoid peaks and valleys, and thereby show "realistic" numbers. By doing it this way, they won't shoot themselves in the foot, with one or two lousy runs, that craete the appearance of low grade.
