The House simply did not do the will of the American people in voting articles of impeachment 2.) Everything else being equal, it's only natural, I think, for people to root for an underdog. And Clinton is perceived to be the underdog - - the victim of vicious attacks for his all-too-human frailties. Frailties most ordinary people can identify with. Therefore, the more vigorously he is attacked as an underdog, the more popular he will become. It's a sad, but fascinating situation. Ice
