IMO here are some comments on the recent postings and a possible scenario.
1) Internet (especially e=commerce) stocks get one major, INDEPENDENT surge when they hit NASDAQ. THEN they are much more likely to move with the pack. This is why it is so essential that they get on.
2) They are holding back with the cable announcement to bundle it with other announcements to make a big push for the NASDAQ.
3) The big boys will know what is going on before we do. Watch for stock movement out of sinc with the other internet stocks as a precursor of major announcements.
4) "Business to business" will be the hot news in 1999. International will begin to get with the program.
5) The fact that everyone says the internet stocks are overvalued is positive, because the market rarely goes the way of unanimous feeling.

And... for our general amusement and to see who is short and who is long, I ask all to make a prediction of the highest close for BII between now and Mar. 31, 1999, assuming they get on NASDAQ. My prediction is US$35.00. You know I've got to be long. It will be interesting to see other predictions, especially from those who profess not to be short and who are generally negative on BII.
