Question for teevee..........regards the Winspear news release of 10/14/98 Down-Dip holes #CL98-17 & CL98-18........CL98-17 intersects 2.5m kimberlite at 478 meters depth, similar kimberlite to that of the NW Dyke. This intersection is 150 meter deeper than expected for it to be the NW Dyke, the hanging wall of this intersection is marked by significant alteration of the enclosing granite rocks whereas the footwall is unaltered.........teevee, my question is.... what are they implying or what does it imply that the hanging wall is altered ? you seem like an engineering/geologist type so I thought you might have a thought on this
