Michael-- Why not see the world? It's only a month, after all. Should be interesting, and if you have to decide within thirty days from now I gather you'd actually be going sometime in the late spring? April and May can be nice. I've never been to Sardinia: the coast is a major resort area, the interior pretty undeveloped. Not as spectacularly beautiful as Sicily or the Calabrian coast, but attractive in its own way. Give it a try. Very unlike Washington State. Janice
