Thanks a lot. So, it looks like 3Q dividends are still in arrears, and that 4Q dividends will soon follow in arrears... Because I was also trading ROTI and ROTIP back in June, my records show that I only owned 1121 ROTIP on 6/30/98; however, I have received no dividend to date. I owned considerably more than that at the end of the 3rd quarter, so I hope that those dividends get paid... To chaulu2, the description of redemption that I posted was a verbatim cut and paste from ROTIP's initial registration statement. edgar-online.com The only subsequent descriptions that I recall seeing (I went over the proxy statement when it was originally filed, and I don't have the energy to do it again, seeing as how the definitive proxy should be filed soon) assumed that all ROTIP would have been converted by the time the merger occurred and that management has not yet determined what effect the merger will have on its ability to declare and pay dividends on the Class A preferred shares (ROTIP). If you could point out or cut and paste a description to the contrary, I'd be very grateful.
