I've been investing for two years. It was my presumption that threads are used to discuss and share ideas and opinions about particular investments. I think getting other people's opinions and sharing my own make me a better investor.

As for PBHG, I have confidence in their investment philosophy in a BULL market, it's just going to be interesting to see what happens once stock-picking becomes much more important. I see value funds being better plays for 1997. The risk/reward ratio for growth funds isn't as good as it is for value funds, but PBHG finally does have a value fund, but I'm not familiar with the management firm they are working with.
