CNBC reports lots of consolidation in 1999 and TMAR is buyout candidate.

Who would buy them? Their competitors are in the same boat being cash strapped and scrambling to meet cash flow. TDW might be a possibility, but they are exactly stepping up to the plate.

With a triple bottom in the 4-range and a buyout potential and renewed vigor among the oil producing nations to limit production, this could be a nice bet for appreciation.

I've heard all this before. Triple bottom doesn't mean squat. Plenty of double bottoms were formed in the spring of 1998. As for limiting production, Russia, Brazil, Venezuela and Mexico all depend on oil exports to prop up their currency. Unlikely to see any production cuts in a meaningful nature until the world economies look much better.

PE is only 2.5

Do you drive your car by looking in the rear view mirror? Forward p/e's 9-10 range is low, but TDW is also trading at a forward p/e of 11. Any guesses as to where the money will flow first???
