Carl R., Perhaps the 10Q will shed more light on the small production gain for the quarter. I do agree with your conclusion, but strongly question whether this "pedal to the metal" strategy will prove to be wise in the longer term. This combined with JIT inventory management by the PC makers and seasonal demand fluctuations seems a sure recipe for strong volatility in DRAM pricing, with the sharpest changes being to the downside. Throw in an unexpected inventory correction and you could get a heck of a "buying opportunity" for MU stock <g>
