John, Your broker can probably allow you to short OTC-BB stocks intraday because the way your account is set up allows you to circumvent the system. However, shorting of these stocks is not permissable in the U.S. The naked shorting through Canada is now resulting in numerous suits contending stock manipulation and fraud. I am personally aware of one BB stock that has a 3.3 MM share float and it appears that there is a naked short position of over 10MM shares. It will be interesting to see how this one plays out.
